About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and organized Junior Field Project Manager to join our team and support the successful coordination and execution of electrical construction projects throughout New York.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical/construction background who is looking to grow their career in field project management. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the coordination and management of electrical construction projects from start to completion.
  • Support Project Managers and field personnel with day-to-day project needs.
  • Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
  • Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Track project schedules, materials, manpower, and overall progress.
  • Assist with project documentation, reports, change orders, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Communicate project updates and potential issues to management.
  • Conduct field visits as needed to monitor project progress and assist with coordination.
  • Assist with ensuring work is performed safely and in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel for project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Qualifications
Required
  • Previous experience or background in electrical construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification.
  • 10-Hour SST Card.
  • Ability to work in the field and travel to project locations throughout New York.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, construction management, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with electrical plans, drawings, and construction documentation.
  • Experience working with field crews, foremen, subcontractors, or vendors.
