Our client, a leading innovator in hardware and network solutions, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting hardware verification and design projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Fully remote; must be able to support PST working hours (flexibility of 2-3 hours overlap acceptable)

Pay Range:$79- $84.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:

Technical engineering experience with:

  • - hardware design verification (10+ years)
  • - verification methodologies (10+ years)
  • - system Verilog (10+ years)

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and verify hardware components for advanced networking hardware systems
  • Create comprehensive test plans and execute verification efforts within existing environments
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to troubleshoot and resolve design issues
  • Build, test, and modify prototypes to meet project specifications and security requirements
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement necessary modifications to ensure conformance to specifications

What's Needed?

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design verification, including System Verilog and UVM methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
  • Strong understanding of RTL design, verification environments, and hardware testing techniques
  • Experience with verification of complex systems, especially in networking hardware, is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines
