Job description

Pay Range: $20 - $21/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal business teams to understand reporting, data, and information needs that support business decision-making.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
  • Analyze business data, identify trends, interpret findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Retrieve, extract, manipulate, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources using reporting and database tools.
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and usability of internal databases and reporting systems.
  • Support information management projects, special reporting requests, and new technology initiatives.
  • Import and export data while ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Distribute reports and business information to appropriate stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy.
  • Support research and business analysis by preparing reports, documentation, presentations, and validating external data.
  • Assist users with reporting tools, database access, and business information systems, including user training when required.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives, project teams, and process improvement efforts.
  • Present reports, dashboards, analytical findings, and recommendations that enable informed business decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Insurance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Professional insurance coursework or industry certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Information Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience with business analysis, problem-solving, planning, coordination, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of business operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and business support processes.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, terminology, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of reporting methodologies, database management, and information governance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting solutions.
  • Experience with reporting tools, databases, spreadsheets, and business intelligence applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
