    Sprague Pest Solutions is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven sales leader to grow our presence across one of the most dynamic commercial markets in the country - the Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area extending west through Coastal Ventura County. This territory blends dense urban and industrial corridors with coastal agricultural and hospitality markets, spanning food production and cold storage, entertainment and media campuses, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily housing, and expansive warehousing and logistics hubs feeding the ports of LA and Long Beach.     What You'll Do

    New Business Development

    • Prospect, cold call, and generate new business daily,  targeting Los Angeles, Burbank, Glendale, the San Fernando Valley, and Coastal Ventura County communities 
    • Identify and penetrate food-production clusters, entertainment and media campuses, manufacturing corridors, and commercial hubs
    • Build and maintain a robust self-generated pipeline
    • Develop referral networks and uncover untapped markets
    • Represent Sprague at industry events, customer sites, and regional trade shows

    Client Discovery & Consultative Sales

    • Conduct onsite inspections to assess operational and facility-specific needs   
    • Understand complex operational environments and regulatory pressures (FDA, USDA, GMP, FSMA) to deliver tailored pest prevention solutions
    • Develop custom proposals and present integrated pest-prevention solutions
    • Collaborate closely with Burbank managers, technicians, fumigation teams, and specialists
    • Support bids, specialty projects, and RFP responses

    Account Ownership & Retention

    • Manage accounts from initial contact through implementation, ensuring long-term satisfaction and compliance support
    • Conduct business reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and cross-sell services
    • Connect clients early with route managers and technicians to ensure smooth onboarding
    • Move quickly-our culture expects leads to be acted on with urgency

    Requirements

    Who We're Looking For

    Required

    • 2+ years B2B sales experience (Preferably in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, food production, facility services, etc.)
    • Self-motivated hunter with a strong ownership mentality
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • Comfortable with frequent travel and long driving days
    • Familiarity with the business landscape of Los Angeles, Burbank, Glendale, the San Fernando Valley, and Coastal Ventura County
    • Ability to meet pre-hire screening requirements:
      • 5+ years Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
      • Criminal Background Check: Federal, State, County
      • Employment and Education verification
      • DOT Physical with 5-Panel Drug Screen

    Strongly Preferred

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Experience in food production, manufacturing, distribution, or facility-based industries
    • Experience in pest management or environmental services
    • CRM proficiency (Salesforce a plus)
