Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify personalized treatment paths.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing trauma experiences and cultivating coping strategies for everyday challenges.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) within the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is highly preferred.
• A profound knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, alongside resilience-building approaches.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, underscored by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor while working with clients.
• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, making informed decisions that benefit the clients' well-being.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications necessary for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
