    ## General Mechanical Superintendent - Primoris Energy Services - 43427 APEXApplylocations: Texastime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR100763**Job Overview:**The General Mechanical Superintendent will oversee all mechanical construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves direct supervision of mechanical crews and coordination with other trades and project stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Manage and supervise all aspects of mechanical construction, including but not limited to piping, equipment installation, and structural steel erection, in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards. \* Develop and implement project schedules for mechanical work, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines. \* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. \* Direct and coordinate the work of foremen, craft workers, and subcontractors. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to mechanical crews. \* Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during construction. \* Collaborate with project management, engineering, and other superintendents to optimize project execution and resource allocation. \* Monitor and control project costs related to mechanical work, including labor, materials, and equipment. \* Prepare daily reports, progress reports, and other documentation as required. \* Oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of mechanical materials and equipment. \* Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate project status, concerns, and solutions. Job Qualifications:\*\* \* Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role as a Mechanical Superintendent or General Foreman. \* Proven experience with large-scale industrial construction projects, preferably within the energy services sector. \* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping fabrication and installation, heavy equipment setting, and structural steel erection. \* Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and specifications. \* In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices (OSHA 30 certification preferred). \* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams. \* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. \* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. \* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. \* Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required. \* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.**Company Overview:**Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
