    Job Description: Shop Manager | Battle Creek, MI Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for excelling in shop manager? We are collaborating with leading companies in Battle Creek seeking Shop Managers to lead and enhance their operations. If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Battle Creek seeking experienced Shop Managers. Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation to meet manufacturing targets.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards across shop operations.
    • Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
    • Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with supply chain.
    • Maintain production equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and timely repairs.
    • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with engineering and design teams on new product introductions and modifications.
    Recommended Qualifications
    • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing shop environment
    • 2+ years experience in a supervisory or management role
    • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
    • Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards
    • Experience with production scheduling and resource allocation
    • Proficiency in using manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES)
