    Objectives
    Reporting to the Manager, Finance -Billing, this position will support Medicaid and Managed Care Organization (MCO) billing operations by ensuring accurate documentation, compliant billing processes, and timely invoice submission. This role directly supports the client's revenue and continuity of care through the maintenance of precise clinical and financial records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of weekly Clinic MCO and Medicaid billing batches to support consistent revenue flow.
    • Improve billing accuracy and regulatory compliance by thoroughly reviewing progress notes for completeness and correctness prior to claim submission.
    • Validate medical necessity and insurance coverage by reviewing treatment plans before services are billed, reducing claim denials and audits.
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client insurance records in the EHR system to support clean claim processing.
    • Proactively confirm active insurance coverage through weekly eligibility reviews, preventing billing errors and service disruptions.
    • Produce reliable routine billing and financial reports to support operational oversight and informed decision-making.
