Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly
Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join their team in Chicago. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in performance testing and automation, along with experience working in both on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies
  • Build and maintain test scripts using industry-standard tools
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify system bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application scalability and reliability

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in performance testing and automation
  • Hands-on experience with JMeter and BlazeMeter
  • Strong experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Experience testing applications across on-premises and cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LoadRunner
  • Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Playwright and Selenium
