Overview
Responsible for providing administrative and leasing support for assigned property.ย Establishes inviting atmosphere for prospective residents andย guests, andย provides superlative customer service to current residents.ย Maintains knowledge of Company's policies and procedures, as well as applicable housing laws and regulations.ย
Pay range: $23 - $25/hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Provides first-line customer service for prospective and current residents, as well as property guests.ย Maintains welcoming environment in Leasingย Officeย ย ย
- Leads tours of property, showing vacant units and marketing propertyย amenitiesย
- Tracks and follows up with all referrals, walk-ins, and phoneย inquiriesย ย
- Develops and maintains reference book detailing property's unique features, amenities, size, vacancies, rental rates, and current leasingย promotionsย
- Assists with developing and coordinating leasing events and resident promotionalย activitiesย
- Prepares leasing checklist and package which includes all required forms, deposits, schedules, andย informationย ย
- Processes lease applicationsย ย
- Completes and maintains lease files for each rental, and ensures all files contain required documentation outlined in the Resident File Setupย ย
- Collects rental deposits and rent.ย Delivers deposits to bank.ย
- Utilizes maintenance software program to enter in and track workย ordersย
- Inspects apartments for move-in/out condition and turnoverย statusย
- Prepares and distributes required reports, monthly newsletters, tenant correspondence, etc.ย
- Works with management to develop and implement residential programming, including special events and ongoing instructional and recreationalย activitiesย
- Assists Property Manager with annual recertification of eachย residentย
- Visits comparable properties and assists Property Manager in preparing quarterly competitive marketย analysisย
- Remains current on and compliant with policies and laws affecting the marketing and leasing of the property, including the Company's leasing agreement, Landlord Tenant code, Fair Housing laws, and other applicableย lawsย ย
- Ordersย office supplies and welcome gifts for new residentsย
- Assists with the development and implementation of resident servicesย programmingย
- Maintains regular daily office hours, ensuring adequate coverage on weekends andย holidaysย
- Maintains strict adherence to invoice approval policy.ย Position does not have authority to purchase any goods orย servicesย
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:ย
- High Schoolย Diplomaย or equivalentย
- 1 year experience in multi-family property managementย preferredย ย
- Proficiency in Yardi preferredย
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including Microsoft Excel and Outlookย ย
- Excellent customer service skillsย
- Requires a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel (between properties)ย
Working Conditions:ย
- Ability to work periodic flexible hours is required.ย Ability to travel by plane and automobile is required. ย
- Ability to work at property locations within or near transitionalย neighborhoodsย
- Ability to climb stairs, take elevators, bend, squat and reachย overhead.ย
