About the Role:
As our Bindery Operator, you will:
- Read and understand job ticket specifications. Set and operate machine to published specifications.
- Set up the bindery equipment to the specifications of the project.
- Identify, troubleshoot and correct product defects.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bindery equipment as needed.
- Operate the bindery equipment at the highest production speed while maintaining the highest quality products.
- Effectively communicates the status of jobs and machines at shift-change to ensure smooth transition.
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Bindery Operator, if your background includes:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing setting up & operating various Bindery equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of the mechanics and capabilities of equipment, tooling, supplies, etc.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as work independently.
- Ability to regularly lift, stack, bend, walk, use pallet jack, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Team Player with ability to multi-task with deadlines while still meeting standards.
- Demonstrate high ethical standards with fellow employees, customers, and the public.
- Detail-oriented.
