Position Summary

Odyssey is recruiting to fill a SharePoint Architect role supporting the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.

Program description:

The ISR/SOF Directorate has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping ISR & SOF warfighters to dominate the battlespace. Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Provide expert-level issue resolution, programmatic and technical recommendation support to the PEO to achieve desired program outcomes, align activities across the ISR and SOF enterprise and build stronger partnerships with the requirements community.
  • Possess the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in respective role. Must work independently and be able to apply procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Data Managers, Engineers, and operational users to define, develop and execute technical data strategies that align with DMM organizational and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop tools, processes and strategies that align the access and utilization of platform technical data with the organization's DMM needs.
  • Analyze operational mission requirements across the Divisions, identify areas where technical data can add value, and collect, organize, and analyze relevant data, and craft comprehensive data strategies that align with the organization's DMM goals and objectives.
  • Serve as an interface between the technical teams and the end users, to optimize operations, create new products or services, or enhance the end user DMM experience.
  • Manage SharePoint Administration tasks including permissions management, user access control, site provisioning, backup/recovery, and monitoring and performance tuning
  • Build custom SharePoint solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Framework, and scripting
  • Implement and support integrations across Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365/Office 365, and Confluence
  • Serve as the technical expert for all SharePoint related initiatives including user training, documentation, and guidance on best practices
Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

Citizenship: US Citizen

Clearance: Ability to Obtain Secret

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of handson experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • SharePoint architecture and design
    • SharePoint development (SPFx, scripting, automation tools)
    • Permissions and security management
    • Metadata and content management strategies
  • Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Office 365 ecosystems.
  • Experience with integrations involving Teams, OneDrive, and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Ability to analyze complex business needs and design appropriate technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse technical and nontechnical groups.

 Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid:  Onsite at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
