Mid-Senior Level OSHA & Employment Litigation Associate - Los Angeles, CA
Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level OSHA & Employment Litigation Associate with at least 4 years of experience to join their Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator with experience defending employers in workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, or other state OSHA plans, as well as employment litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in workplace safety-related enforcement actions brought by Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, and other state OSHA plans
- Manage employment litigation cases, including:
- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
- Drafting and arguing motions and other legal briefs
- Taking and defending depositions
- Provide strategic advice to clients on OSHA compliance and workplace safety matters
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive legal support
- Handle multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- 4+ years of employment litigation experience
- Experience defending OSHA-related enforcement actions is required
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based environments
- Active California Bar admission is required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $220,000 - $260,000 (actual pay based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
