We are currently seeking a Sales Executive with experience selling IT Services to the Federal Government of Canada to join our team in Ottawa, ON.

Job Title: Sales Executive -  Government of Canada

Location, Ottawa, Ontario (local only, no remote)

Reporting to: Senior Director of Sales, Canada Public Sector

The Sales Executive - Government of Canada will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing large-scale IT services and solutions opportunities within assigned Government of Canada departments and agencies. This strategic sales role demands deep knowledge of Government of Canada procurement processes, existing client relationships, and a proven ability to engage senior government executives to position NTT DATA as a preferred partner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on expanding NTT DATA's presence within the Government of Canada, across priority departments and agencies.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned to NTT DATA's core competencies, including digital transformation, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, data analytics, AI, infrastructure, and managed services.
• Lead client engagement, relationship management, and stakeholder mapping to ensure NTT DATA is positioned to effectively respond to upcoming procurement opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with Client Executives, Delivery Executives, and Service Portfolio Leaders to craft compelling and differentiated solutions tailored to Government of Canada client needs.
• Drive complex deal cycles, negotiate contracts, and secure large, multi-year engagements.
• Actively maintain sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
• Represent NTT DATA at relevant industry/sector events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of enterprise-level IT services and solutions sales experience, with at least 5 years directly focused on Government of Canada clients.
• Proven track record closing complex, high-value contracts ($5M+ TCV).
• Deep understanding of Government of Canada procurement processes, guidelines, contract vehicles, and frameworks.
• Established network of relationships across key Government of Canada departments and agencies.
• Strong knowledge of digital transformation, cloud computing, cybersecurity solutions, application modernization and managed IT services.
• Demonstrated ability meeting and/or exceeding annual quotas of $15 million TCV.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• (Preferred) Native-speaker proficiency in both English and French.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $143,000 to $193,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for the Company's comprehensive benefits program in Canada, including customizable health and dental coverage with telemedicine, wellness credits, and gym discounts.
