The Northwell Health Department of Radiology/Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell is seeking a board-certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join the team.

The successful candidate will have an M.D. degree with American Board of Radiology Certification, and dedicated fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging. The position will require doing musculoskeletal ultrasound and procedures as well as musculoskeletal MR and CT imaging and radiograph interpretation. This position allows for flexibility of working locations as the division of musculoskeletal imaging provides coverage throughout the health system including sites in Manhattan, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk. Remote work is available 1-2 days per week and weekend call is taken remotely. An academic appointment with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell is available based on the candidate's academic experience.

The musculoskeletal division consists of 16 fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologists that provide musculoskeletal and procedural services at multiple tertiary and community hospitals throughout the health system in addition to ten outpatient imaging facilities stretching from Manhattan to the east end of Long Island. The division is active in the training of 70 radiology residents from three residency programs and 2 musculoskeletal imaging fellows. The MSK division interprets greater than 50,000 MRI examinations yearly along with 18,000 CT exams, 3,000 diagnostic ultrasound exams and 3,000 image guided procedures.

Northwell Health is New York State's largest health care provider and private employer, with 23 hospitals, more than 600 outpatient facilities and nearly 15,000 affiliated physicians. We care for over two million people annually in the New York metro area and beyond, thanks to philanthropic support from our communities. We're making breakthroughs in medicine at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. We're training the next generation of medical professionals at the visionary Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the Hofstra Northwell School of Graduate Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.
