Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
Only candidates currently located in IN will be considered for this position.
Excellent communication skills required.
ln this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence.
A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
• Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
• Define users and project team member's roles and responsibilities on the project.
• Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.

Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects as a Senior IT PM

Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implemention
