    Job description

MTSI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Management Logistician to provide direct program support to the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) Family of Systems at Wright-Patterson AFB. The NGAD FoS includes advanced crewed and uncrewed platforms, enabling technologies, sensors, and mission systems that will define the future of air superiority. This role supports a fast-paced acquisition environment and requires a professional experienced in logistics, lifecycle management, supply chain resilience, and integration across government and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities Provide logistics and supply chain support across all NGAD Family of Systems program elements, including planning, procurement, distribution, sustainment, and inventory management. Develop, review, and maintain logistics strategies, supply chain risk assessments, product support documentation, and lifecycle sustainment plans. Coordinate with program management, engineering, contracting, and industry suppliers to ensure supply chain readiness and alignment with acquisition milestones.

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, material availability, production timelines, and risk drivers; recommend mitigation strategies for critical supply chain vulnerabilities. Support government logistics and sustainment activities, including Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, technical reviews, configuration management boards, and cross-functional working groups. Analyze logistics data to support decision-making related to spares provisioning, reliability and maintainability metrics, and long-term sustainment cost modeling.

Prepare briefings, reports, and program documentation for senior leadership. Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policy, Air Force logistics directives, and NGAD program requirements. Collaborate with security and counterintelligence partners to support supply chain protection measures relevant to sensitive and classified systems.

Required Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret/SAP preferred for NGAD roles). 10+ years of demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics, or lifecycle product support within DoD, aerospace, or advanced technology programs. Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, sustainment planning, and logistics support analysis.

Ability to work effectively within a highly collaborative government-contractor environment. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with logistics tools, supply chain analysis methods, and data-driven decision support. Excellent communication skills and experience preparing high-level program documentation.

Bachelor's degree in a business, logistics or project management discipline required Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting USAF advanced weapons systems, fifth-generation aircraft, or emerging air dominance initiatives. Prior work on ACAT I programs or rapid capability development organizations. Familiarity with digital engineering, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and modern supply chain resiliency frameworks.
