Description:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse activities including but not limited to personnel, productivity with the goal of meeting or exceeding daily performance expectations.
Scheduled:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Pay:
- up to $55,000 (based on experience)
Required Experience for Assistant Warehouse Manager:
- One year minimum of previous warehouse experience
- Forklift operator experience
- Manlift operator experience (cherry picker)
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)
Requirements for Assistant Warehouse Manager:
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Accellos software
- Positive attitude and the ability to motivate employees
- Ability to give special attention to detail
- Ability to identify letters and numbers
- Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities
- Planning/organizing and follow-up skills
- Quality control - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work to ensure quality

Assistant Warehouse Manager duties include, but are not limited to:
- Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management
- Supervise employees to ensure productivity
- Ensure that the warehouse is clean, neat, and well-organized to ensure that each job can be done efficiently
- Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate area of the warehouse for restocking
- Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders
- Stock parts on racks in the proper location
- Pull orders from warehouse stock and distribute parts according to the end destination
- Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
- Organize and secure the product properly in preparation to be transported or moved
- Load trucks and secure the product
- Administer appropriate disciplinary action as needed and give input on performance evaluations
- Monitor hours worked by employees and adhere to allotted hours
- Report the absence of employees via the computer
- Manage assigned employees’ timecards
- Evaluate and administer subordinate employees’ performance reviews
- Communicate the daily summary email as directed
- Secure the building at the close of business
- All other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
