    Overview

    As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community.     Responsibilities

    As a Warehouse Coordinator, you are responsible for moving material within the distribution center and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

    In addition, you will:

    • Receive incoming inventory and supply items, log into the company warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper location
    • Read work orders, shipping orders, or follow verbal instructions
    • Fill customer invoices, check part numbers, clean and pack inventory items
    • Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage; Notify Warehouse Manager of problems
    • Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment
    • Track all inventory in the appropriate system
    • Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as needed
    • Report any customer problems or concerns immediately
    • Coach fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when needed
    • Enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations
    • Evaluate current processes and procedures, and recommend changes to warehouse management
    • Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity
    • Maintain working knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform various tasks within the system
    • When requested, deliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    About You:

    • You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
    • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
    • Have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent
    • Frequently required to walk or stand long hours and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift to 50 pounds
    • Forklift operating experience (Forklift Certification is a plus)
    • Able to operate personal computers and software programs, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Have at least 1 year of Warehouse experience

    Compensation of $18-$24 per hour, depending on the experience.
