Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Engineer / Lead to support the delivery of a large-scale pharmaceutical API greenfield facility project. This role will lead assigned engineering workstreams (nodes) and oversee project execution from design through commissioning and system turnover, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage assigned engineering project nodes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate activities between engineering, construction, commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) teams.
- Identify and manage system interdependencies, project risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements.
- Support commissioning readiness, startup activities, and system turnover.
- Drive stakeholder communication and ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules, quality standards, and budget objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical facility design.
- Experience managing large-scale CAPEX projects.
- Experience supporting greenfield facility/site-build projects preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects.
