This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure applications and services supporting high-priority customer missions. The ideal candidate has strong software development experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges across a variety of mission and enterprise systems. Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, mission requirements, and overall alignment with customer and contract needs. What you'll do * Design, develop, test, and maintain mission-focused software applications * Develop backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications * Support system integrations and modernization initiatives * Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues * Participate in Agile development and DevOps activities * Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational teams * Contribute to secure software development and deployment practices * Develop and maintain technical documentation and code repositories Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) * Minimum 6 years of software development experience * Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript * Experience developing APIs, enterprise applications, or distributed systems * Experience with Git, version control, and software development lifecycle practices * Understanding of Agile development methodologies * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure * Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or automation tools * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes * Experience supporting Intelligence Community or government environments * Full stack or frontend development experience * Relevant technical certifications * Strong written and verbal communication skills About Insight Xcite Insight Xcite is a mission-focused consulting firm supporting critical government programs through data-driven engineering, technology, cybersecurity, analytics, and operational expertise.
