    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are seeking ideal candidates who have experience in powder coating and have a strong understanding of coating techniques and equipment.


    JOB DUTIES:

    · Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate materials and equipment.

    · Assembly for powder coating process, operating spray gun, loading metal pieces onto paint-line hooks, unloading metal pieces after painting, and general shop cleaning.

    · Perform chemical balancing to ensure proper mixtures for powder coating.

    · Conduct routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and tools.

    · Complete verification paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

    · Practice good housekeeping and safety procedures and adhere to all company policies.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    · High School diploma or equivalent.

    · Some experience as a powder coat painter.

    · Proficiency in powder coating techniques and equipment.

    · Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and coating operations.

    · Strong attention to detail and quality.

    · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    · Previous experience in a related field is a plus.

    · Physically fit: frequently lift up to 50 lbs., must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.

    · Activities: Sitting – 5% Walking/Standing – 95%

    · Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

    · Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust, and fumes.
