About the Role
We are looking for an Engineer to join our Preconstruction team in our regional office in Columbus, OH. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand construction design documents and specifications.
  • Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
  • Manage cost and design issues throughout project phases.
  • Coordinate and manage trades, with exposure to BIM processes.
  • Oversee all purchasing required to support projects, including scope coordination, proposal evaluation, trade negotiations, and contracting.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related construction/engineering field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction management, preconstruction, or estimating.
  • Outstanding communication and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to relocate.
