This role is ideal for a highly organized, technically skilled, and collaborative professional who can successfully guide projects from concept through construction. Essential Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Support architectural projects from initial concept through construction administration, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and adherence to project schedules
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities, timelines, and deliverables

Client & Consultant Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, design presentations, and regular progress updates
  • Facilitate coordination among multidisciplinary engineering teams and external consultants
  • Represent the firm in on-site and off-site meetings, including client workshops, construction meetings, and consultant coordination sessions

Technical & Documentation Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Ensure design solutions comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements
  • Lead construction administration efforts, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, punch lists, and ongoing contractor communication

Team Collaboration & Studio Culture

  • Collaborate closely with firm leadership to support project planning, resource allocation, and adherence to firm standards
  • Contribute to a positive, productive, and collaborative studio culture through daily in-office engagement

Qualifications:

Required

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • Professional architectural licensure preferred or active pursuit of licensure
  • Strong technical proficiency in Revit and related design and documentation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
  • Ability to work full-time on-site and attend client and project meetings as required
  • Ability to obtain government security clearances, as needed

Preferred

  • Experience with MILCON, GSA, or other government projects
  • Working knowledge of FAR clauses and UFC requirements
