Job description

Our client is a rapidly growing civil engineering and land surveying firm seeking a full-time professional engineer (PE) licensed in Florida to be located in Kissimmee, Florida. Ideal candidates in Central Florida will have civil engineering design, permitting, and project management experience with commercial/mix use development, retail, large single-family residential, townhome, and professional office developments. This job will involve local travel to project sites, client meetings, and community events.

Our client aims to develop a diversified professional civil engineering and surveying firm of great people and a rewarding place to make a living, allowing for balanced professional and personal lifestyles.  It also provides challenging opportunities to "create value through innovative design" for its clients. Their client base includes residential, commercial, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, and institutional owners and developers.  They also serve the public sector by doing business with municipal, state, and federal government agencies, school boards, regulatory agencies, and transportation districts.

Requirements:
• Skilled in land development site design analysis, scheduling, financial and material resources management, leading internal teams, and coordinating meetings and calls with clients and subconsultants
• Single-family, townhome, and multi-family residential development project experience
• Professional office and industrial/warehouse development project experience
• Permitting experience in Central Florida with city and county agencies
• Paving, grading, drainage, water, sewer, and utility design experience
• Construction administration, observation, and certification experience

Qualifications:  
• B.S. in civil engineering
• Must have Florida professional engineer (PE) license
• Minimum 5 years of civil site and drainage design experience
• Proficient in producing construction plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D
