    Haskell is looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Jacksonville, Florida headquarters. You don't have to worry about being pigeon-holed in this role because this team supports multiple markets such as Healthcare, Federal, Municipal, Education, Water, Aviation, and Manufacturing.

Here are some examples of the great work this team has been a part of: Boynton Beach City Hall and Library, BayCare Mease Countryside Hospital Pavilion, Dassault Falcon Jet MRO & Paint Hanagar Facilities, and Jacksonville University's River House Pool Complex.
    In this role, you are responsible for assigned project designs, coordination, client communications, and associated construction administration. You will also be responsible for supervising team members assigned to projects, ensuring staff utilization, overseeing the work performed by the assigned staff, managing the project budget, and managing the project schedule.
    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security
    • Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements
    • Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations
    • Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission
    • Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals
    • Provide coaching/mentoring of assigned staff

    To thrive in this role, you will need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
    • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE)
    • 8+ years of electrical design experience
    • Revit experience preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment

    Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
    While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
