Job description

Position Overview

Harmonic Movement Therapies, located in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding our patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain mobility and achieve their highest functional levels.

About the Organization

At Harmonic Movement Therapies, our mission is to empower individuals through movement. We specialize in providing personalized physical therapy services, and our commitment to patient-centered care sets us apart in the field. Our spacious 5,000 square-foot outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities tailored to meet the needs of athletes and active individuals seeking to enhance their performance and recovery.

Work Environment

Our physical therapy setting encourages collaboration and teamwork. You will work alongside a close-knit team comprising two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). This supportive environment allows for shared knowledge and co-treatment of patients, fostering professional growth and enhancing the quality of care we provide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and goals of each patient upon intake.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring individualized treatment plans are followed and adjusted as necessary.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to establish comprehensive care plans, incorporating a range of therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and functionality.
  • Employ your manual therapy skills to reduce pain and improve patient outcomes, exploring non-surgical options where appropriate.
  • Educate and inspire patients through individualized fitness and wellness regimens designed to meet their unique needs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment schedules through our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, specifically WebPT.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust strategies based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be prepared to work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injury, surgical patients needing rehabilitation, and individuals with chronic pain issues. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, affordable therapies that enhance the quality of life for our patients, often reducing reliance on prescription medications through effective alternatives.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Valid State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
  • Strong manual therapy skills are essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage patient treatments efficiently while fostering a supportive and caring environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, contingent upon experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive salary, we provide a robust benefits package that includes healthcare options, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities aimed at supporting your professional development.

At Harmonic Movement Therapies, we believe in investing in our team's future. As a member of our team, you will have access to numerous professional development resources, including workshops, certifications, and in-house training. We encourage you to take on leadership roles and advance within our organization as you build your skills.
