Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Whippany, NJ (Day 1 Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time
Experience Required: 7+ Years
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, with experience delivering enterprise-grade applications in an Agile environment. Financial services or banking domain experience is highly preferred. These requirements are consistent with current enterprise Java roles in Whippany.
Required Skills- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms
- Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and database performance tuning
- Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Exposure to AWS or Azure Cloud is preferred
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Design Patterns
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills
