    Job description

    Job Responsibilities as a Accountant and Office Manager, you will classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records. You will also help the executive team with administrative duties such as scheduling, ordering office supplies, event planning, and employee & HR relations. There will also be additional administrative assistant duties associated with this position.

    Additional responsibilities for the Bookkeeper include:

    • Handle Trust accounting practices based on CA requirements
    • Handle AR/Ap & financial reporting
    • Processing invoices for payments & end-of-year 1099s
    • Posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
    • Auditing expenses & Vendor's bills (Home Depot, Lowe's, Grainger, HDSupply etc.)
    • Balance bank statements, track expenses and P&Ls
    • Helping prepare payroll data, Annual training, and quarterly board meeting reports
    • Maintaining employee records
    • Work with the Ownership team for off-site events & scheduling

    This role will assist in both office management and bookkeeping roles, as well as executive assistant work. As a Bookkeeper, you must have a basic mathematical aptitude. You must also be highly organized and communicative, as others will rely on the accuracy of your information to make key decisions. We are also seeking someone with a diverse background in Excel and Google Suite software. Additional requirements of the Bookkeeper include:

    • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
    • A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and Google Suite

    Time Commitment: This position is in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays ( Flexibility available if necessary)
