Position Summary

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team that owns the core of our payment technology. In this role, you'll help build and scale both our payments platform and customer-facing payment products, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and performant. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless payments experiences that power every transaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to key initiatives within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable micro-services and APIs that integrate with Stripe and other payment gateways.
  • Build secure, reliable, and compliant payment solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the payments space and bring new ideas to the team.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain high system availability.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software development experience using NodeJS, TypeScript and NestJS
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience working with Stripe's API or other payment processing platforms.
  • Ability to design systems that are secure, scalable, and resilient to failure.
  • Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and best practices in software engineering.

  • Experience in FinTech or other highly regulated industries.
  • Previous work with real-time payment processing systems.

$131,700 - $164,500 a year
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NJ, MA, DC, NYC) per year: $144,900 - $164,500
USA base pay range (all other US states) per year: $131,700 - $149,500
 
In addition to the above salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus.
