Job description
Survey Merchandiser is seeking independent contractors to work as Retail Merchandisers for a project in Coal Valley, IL paying $20/hr. This is a retail-focused role requiring prior retail merchandising experience.
This role requires strong POG/reset experience, as you will be responsible for assembling displays, endcaps, and shelving, reorganizing store shelves according to a specific layout, and documenting your work through the Survey Merchandiser App.

Schedule & Hours
- Pay: $20/hr
- Start Date: September 16th, 2026
- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- Estimated Duration: 5-8 hours
- Arrival: Must arrive 15 minutes early
Responsibilities
- Remove product and place into Frito Lay knockdown boxes
- Update price strips
- Adjust/install shelving to correct heights
- Install dip shelving
- Face product to POG
- Complete any tasks requested by Team Lead
Requirements (Must Have)
- Experience: Proven retail merchandising experience
- Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
- Technology: Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with the Survey Merchandiser App
- Other: 18+, valid driver's license, reliable transportation
- Dress Code : Business casual: closed-toe shoes, long pants, plain shirt or polo. Not allowed: shorts, tank tops, graphic shirts, sandals, dirty clothing, or personal phone use on the sales floor
