Description
As the Estimating Manager, you'll lead the estimating team and oversee the entire construction bidding process for plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly influences project success, profitability, and strategic growth.
How You'll Contribute to the Team:
  • Lead the estimating team and oversee the bidding process.
  • Review estimates and takeoffs for accuracy, quality, and competitiveness.
  • Maintain and improve estimating standards, data, and procedures.
  • Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings to evaluate project requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to refine bids.
  • Monitor market conditions, analyze past performance, and align estimates with company goals.
  • Track actual costs vs. bids and support continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, specifically plumbing and HVAC.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and digital takeoff software, Autobid experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent plumbing/HVAC field experience prior to estimating.
  • 7+ years of estimating experience within the plumbing and HVAC industry.
