Servicing a multitude of high-profile customers including property management firms, government institutions, commercial and industrial Fortune 500 companies, hospitals and more, we know what it takes to make properties stand out. We’re now looking to add a new Estimation Manager to our team: someone who will optimize our operations while ensuring the delivery of our full range of landscaping and construction services is seamless. The Position As our new Landscape Construction Estimation Manager, you’ll be responsible for estimating, logistics and employee management for your division. Using a detailed knowledge of landscaping services and best practices, you’ll always ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.  This is a hands-on role where your success will depend on your ability to act as a channel of communication between clients and staff, demonstrate effective decision making and oversee regional sales. Responsibilities Practically speaking you will:  * Supervise and motivate crews to complete a variety of landscaping/construction tasks * Set the pace by working with crew leaders and the team to complete a variety of landscaping/construction tasks * Use a variety of powered and unpowered equipment and complete tasks such as: 5 Ton dump truck, Trailers, Quick Cut Saws, Hand Tools for Brick Installation, Tamper and Backpack Blower * Estimate landscape construction projects and supervise to completion while maintaining budgeted time and materials. * Interact with customers to troubleshoot and solve landscape problems * Supervise wintertime operations   Working at Clintar This is a full-time permanent position paying a competitive salary with yearly bonus for bringing projects in on time, and on budget – between $60,000 and $70,000 - commensurate with experience. The position is ideally suited for those open to flexible work arrangements, with a combination of on-site and remote work. Clintar operates all year round and transitions during the winter season as one of Canada’s largest snow removal companies. Our crews are on the job around the clock, ensuring properties remain accessible and free of hazardous snow and ice accumulations. Qualifications  * 2+ years of experience in landscape construction * 2+ years of experience leading a team in landscaping/construction sector * Valid class 5 NB driver’s license with a clean abstract * Experience using landscape equipment such as: excavator, mini ex, skid steer, cut saw, tampers etc. * Post-secondary education in horticulture or equivalent experience is preferred * CLT, CHT, CIT certifications are an asset * Excellent written and verbal communication skills How to Apply  Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
