Job Summary:
FieldAI is a company focused on building risk-aware, reliable AI systems for robotics. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to own release reliability and production stability for their web platform, ensuring safe deployments and system scalability.
Responsibilities:
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for web services and applications (Node.js, React)
• Design and maintain release processes that ensure safe, reliable deployments
• Build and enforce testing and validation workflows to catch issues before production
• Manage and scale containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes) in AWS
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and uptime across production environments
• Partner with full-stack engineers to improve deployment velocity and system stability
• Debug and resolve production issues across application, infrastructure, and deployment layers
• Improve observability, logging, and alerting to proactively detect failures
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–8 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or production engineering roles
• Strong experience with AWS and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar)
• Familiarity with modern web stacks (Node.js, TypeScript, React)
• Experience managing production systems and debugging real-world issues
• Understanding of testing strategies for release reliability and system validation
• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on system stability and quality
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams
Preferred:
• Experience owning release processes and production readiness for web applications
• Experience improving system reliability, uptime, and deployment safety at scale
• Familiarity with MongoDB or similar databases in production environments
• Experience building internal tooling to improve developer workflows
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
