Tokenization and Distributed Ledger Product Leader

The Team
Within the Fidelity Wealth organization, the Brokerage Recordkeeping Capabilities Product Area (BRC) is responsible for the retail brokerage business and experience. As a Group Product Leader you will lead a team of Product Leaders and Analysts and with tight partnership with Engineering leaders, be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for our team as well as help drive strategic research and design for future innovation. You work in partnership with leaders across Fidelity Wealth, Fidelity Brokerage, Core Brokerage Platform Technology and other business units.
The Role
We are looking for a Product Leader to help lead Fidelity's tokenization and distributed ledger (DLT) product strategy. This role will focus on developing and executing key initiatives that integrate tokenization capabilities into Fidelity's brokerage ecosystem, working across business units to drive alignment, deliver tangible use cases, and advance our position in the digital asset space. This is a hands-on leadership role combining product strategy, brokerage expertise, and cross-functional execution.
Tokenization Strategy and Execution
  • Support the development and execution of Fidelity's multi-year tokenization strategy, aligning initiatives with business and client priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize practical tokenization use cases across brokerage, asset servicing, and trading workflows.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps, pilots, and deliverables.

Brokerage Platform and Operational Integration
  • Act as a bridge between tokenization initiatives and Fidelity's core brokerage platforms.
  • Apply strong knowledge of brokerage operations (order management, clearing, settlement, custody, servicing) to ensure tokenized solutions fit within existing workflows.
  • Partner with operations and technology teams to design scalable solutions that enhance or modernize front-, middle-, and back-office processes.
  • Evaluate impacts of tokenization on client experience, reporting, and operational controls.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work across Fidelity business units (Brokerage, Digital Assets, Asset Management, etc.) to align on requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Drive coordination across product, engineering, legal, risk, and operations teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure consistent communication on progress and trade-offs.

Product Development and Delivery
  • Lead or contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through pilot to scaled implementation.
  • Develop business cases, define requirements, and support execution of tokenization-related product initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions meet Fidelity's standards for compliance, risk management, and operational resiliency.

Industry Engagement and Market Insight
  • Stay current on tokenization, blockchain, and market infrastructure trends.
  • Participate in industry forums, working groups, and partnerships as a representative of Fidelity (as appropriate at this level).
  • Bring external insights back into the organization to inform product direction and opportunities.

Governance and Best Practices
  • Contribute to frameworks, standards, and best practices for tokenization initiatives within Fidelity.
  • Support alignment with regulatory, compliance, and operational risk requirements.
  • Track progress against initiatives and provide updates to senior leadership.

The Experience you bring
  • Solid understanding of tokenization, blockchain/DLT, and digital asset markets (practical application preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of brokerage platforms and operational workflows, including trading, clearing, settlement, custody, and client servicing.
  • 7-10 (DIR) or 10-15 (VP level) years of experience in product management, strategy, or financial services transformation.
  • Proven ability to work across complex, matrixed organizations and deliver cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management, with ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience working with regulatory, compliance, or risk teams in a financial services environment.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
