Job description
Eventide on Eighth is currently looking for a full time Facilities / Maintenance Worker. Hours are 8am-4:30pm plus with an on call rotation and every sixth weekend rotation.
The Facility Worker performs a variety of duties including painting and minor repairs specific to Eventide facilities and equipment.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Painting experience preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible building and grounds maintenance and the preservation of Eventide's assets. Includes, but limited, to all the daily activities necessary to maintain Eventide's assets such as grounds work, snow removal, all minor equipment repairs and service calls, minor and major repairs to fixed and movable physical plant equipment and other duties as assigned by manager.
- Responsible for painting throughout the facility.
- Safely utilizes and operates tools and equipment.
- Will be available for weekday maintenance call and to work weekends and nights as per the rotating schedule.
- Performs grounds keeping duties to maintain the desired appearance to Eventide property.This includes, but not limited to: lawn maintenance, trimming / pruning bushes, edging sidewalks, removal of weeds, removal of snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots.
