Job description

Role: Plant Maintenance Engiener
Location: WILSON STATION, CENTERTOWN, KY
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects at the facility to ensure the projects are completed on
time and within budget. Lead preventive/predictive maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation in the most cost-effective manner.
The incumbent will support various plant operations and maintenance groups with engineering-based troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution.
Maintain and support continuous improvement of maintenance activities for unit and equipment outages. Complete reports on unit performance and outages as required.
Must be able to conduct work activities regarding environmental rules and regulations and regularly review assignments to assure optimum efficiency.
Develop, negotiate, and implement contracts with contractors, vendors, engineering firms, and others as required to support plant operations and maintenance activities.
Acquire and maintain NBIC "R" Stamp certification for Certified Weld Inspector and Contractors Licenses as required by the Weld Quality Management System.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or an alternate combination of education and experience,
which results in equivalent job knowledge. Requires thorough knowledge of utility power generation with thorough knowledge of plant maintenance procedures,
project management, and plant performance. Must be able to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques,
procedures and criteria using judgment in identifying and implementing enhancements, adaptations, and modifications to existing and/or new equipment in a
power plant environment. Requires an elevated level of judgment, analytic ability, and creativity, such as investigating moderately complex problems or situations,
analyzing information, and recommending solutions.
