Job description

Job Summary:
Ericsson Inc. is a leader in Enterprise Wireless Solutions, seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Lead Product Manager to drive the commercial strategy and customer experience for their cloud networking solutions. This role involves defining product packaging, managing cloud features, and ensuring a seamless customer lifecycle experience.
Responsibilities:
• Define and evolve packaging and pricing models for products, balancing simplicity for partners and customers along with revenue optimization for the business.
• Lead packaging decisions across product tiers, bundles, and licensing structures — including subscription, perpetual, and hybrid models.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to build and validate commercial constructs that resonate with each of our routes to market, partner and customer personas, and industry segments.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform pricing strategy and identify packaging gaps or opportunities.
• Own the roadmap and lifecycle for cloud-delivered features within the NetCloud platform, from ideation through GA and beyond.
• Define requirements and work closely with engineering to deliver reliable, scalable cloud capabilities that differentiate Ericsson's offerings.
• Manage feature entitlements and how capabilities map across product tiers and subscription levels.
• Track adoption, usage, and health metrics for cloud features; use data to drive iteration and prioritization.
• Own the product elements that influence customer purchasing and lifecycle experiences — from discovery and trial to quote, purchase, provisioning, renewal, and expansion.
• Identify and reduce friction in the buying and onboarding experience, working with Operations, Sales, Engineering, IT, and Commerce teams.
• Define and improve self-service and partner-assisted purchasing flows.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure post-sale experience (license management, upgrades, renewals) is seamless and drives retention.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on systems that support the order-to-deploy workflow.
• Serve as the connective tissue between Product, GTM, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations on all commercial and packaging initiatives.
• Represent the voice of the customer and the business in roadmap tradeoffs.
• Present strategy and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on commercial strategy, packaging, pricing, or platform/SaaS products.
• Strong communication, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas, cast vision, reduce complexity, and unambiguously communicate our goals and strategy as well as development priorities and key outcomes.
• Ability to be proactive and take the lead in identifying needs, recommending ideas, defining requirements, prototyping concepts, securing buy-in, and driving alignment.
• Must be people smart, sensitive to relational nuances, perceptive of organizational and cultural dynamics, and socially engaging.
• Deep understanding of cloud subscription business models, including SaaS licensing, entitlement management, and usage-based pricing.
• Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end customer journeys — not just feature delivery, but how customers discover, purchase, onboard, and renew.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable with pricing modeling, funnel analysis, and usage data.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills; able to influence without authority across Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Operations.
Preferred:
• Experience managing the intersection of on-premises and cloud products in an enterprise or networking/infrastructure context is a strong plus.
• Experience in networking, wireless, or enterprise infrastructure is a plus.
• Familiarity with SFDC, D365, or other CRM or ERP commerce platforms is a bonus.
