Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee nursing operations on one of our resident care units. The RN Unit Manager will provide leadership and support to the nursing staff while ensuring that residents receive the highest quality care in accordance with their individual needs and facility standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, long-term care setting.

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead, and mentor nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs, to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Manage daily unit operations, including staffing, patient care, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor and evaluate residents' health status and progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to nursing staff to enhance performance and professional development.
  • Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate care interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide updates and address concerns.

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Qualifications:

  • Current and valid New Jersey RN license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or nursing management preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and respond to residents' needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
