Job description

The Account Manager I is responsible for building value-driven strategic relationships with EnviroServe's key customers that can help in long-term development and retention, thereby maximizing the revenue potential and achieving long-term goals. This role will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing customers, and actively seek new sales opportunities. This role requires a blend of environmental waste industry knowledge and strategic sales planning. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact point for customer account matters working with operations to expand service offerings with assigned and target accounts. Those service lines include Industrial Services, Field Services, Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Waste Transportation and Disposal plus other project-related engagements.
  • Responsible for addressing and resolving issues that impact the progress of developing a mutually beneficial business relationship.
  • Address customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively to maintain trust.
  • Negotiate and close customer service agreements to maximize profits while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Identify current customer relationships, establish, and nurture strong relationships with key customers, recognize opportunities for expansion, and work with local Field teams to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Maintain strong customer relations by traveling throughout assigned region to meet with existing and prospective customers to assess and manage customer needs.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports on sales activities including sales figures, potential projects, and strategies for growth.
  • Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets established by Sales Team.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to grow sales and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of environmental regulations and industry standards to provide knowledgeable guidance to current and prospective customers.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities that ensures achievement of assigned annual sales goals.
  • Perform customer site inspections and attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships across the customer's organization to ensure EnviroServe is the provider for all.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to create and implement account plans.
