    POSITION SUMMARY: 

    The Service Advisor acts as a trusted consultant and primary point of contact for customers seeking mobility equipment solutions. This role involves assessing customer needs, providing expert recommendations on vehicle modifications and accessibility options, and guiding clients through the service process to deliver tailored, high-quality mobility solutions that enhance independence and safety.

    Requirements:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

    The essential functions listed below represent the primary duties of the position. Duties may vary based on assignment and business needs. 

    • Assess customer mobility requirements through consultations, demonstrations, and needs analysis 
    • Recommend appropriate vehicle adaptations, equipment, and services based on technical expertise and customer goals 
    • Prepare detailed service proposals, quotes, and timelines while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards 
    • Coordinate with technicians, sales, and installation teams to facilitate seamless project execution 
    • Educating customers on product features, maintenance, and usage to promote optimal satisfaction and safety 
    • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through follow-up and ongoing support 
    • Maintain accurate records of consultations, recommendations, and service outcome 

    Required Qualifications 

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive/mobility preferred 
    • Prior experience in customer advisory, technical sales, or mobility/automotive service environments 
    • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle modifications and accessibility equipment 
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills 

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Experience as a mobility consultant, service advisor, or similar client-facing technical role 
    • Certifications in mobility equipment, automotive technology, or related fields 
    • Familiarity with adaptive driving solutions, lift systems, and accessibility regulations 

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

    • Ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly recommendations 
    • Strong consultative selling and needs-assessment skills 
    • Proficiency with service management systems and digital tools 
    • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer-centered service excellence  

    Physical Demands
