    Contract Dates: October 4, 2026 – January 2, 2027
    Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
    Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
    Openings: 1
     

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a hospital-based CT department. The ideal candidate will have strong CT experience, prior travel assignment experience, and exposure to a Level I Trauma environment.

    The technologist will perform CT examinations safely and efficiently while supporting patient care across the hospital, including assisting with imaging needs in the Emergency Department (ED) and other clinical areas as required.
     

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established protocols and department standards.
    • Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively.
    • Obtain and verify patient information and ensure appropriate examination preparation.
    • Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions throughout procedures.
    • Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy during imaging procedures.
    • Work effectively in a fast-paced hospital and trauma environment.
    • Assist with CT imaging needs in the Emergency Department and other hospital areas as assigned.
    • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergent imaging requests.
    • Ensure images meet quality standards for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
    • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
    • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all required regulatory standards.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience.
    • Minimum 2 years of travel/contract experience.
    • Previous experience in a Level I Trauma facility is required.
    • Current ARRT certification.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Valid state license/credentials as applicable.
    • Strong knowledge of CT procedures, protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
    • Ability to work independently in a high-volume hospital environment.
    Schedule Requirements
    • Four 10-hour shifts per week
    • 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
    • Every other weekend required
    • Candidates must be comfortable working night shifts and supporting emergency/trauma imaging needs.
    Compliance Requirements

    Selected candidates will be required to complete applicable facility onboarding and compliance requirements, which may include:

    • Summa competency and skills assessments
    • License/certificate verification
    • Health screening and fit testing
    • TB/PPD or IGRA testing
    • Drug screening
    • Required immunizations
    • Background and OIG/EPLS checks
    • Education verification
    • Professional references
    • Facility work-order confirmation
    Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate is a confident and adaptable CT Technologist with strong hospital-based experience, Level I Trauma exposure, and prior travel assignments. The candidate should be comfortable managing both routine and emergent CT examinations in a fast-paced environment.
