Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Retail Merchandising drives the strategic execution of best-in-class in-store customer experiences and physical merchandising tactics across the retail estate. This role solves complex logistical and operational challenges by directing high-volume print production, fulfillment operations, and store build-out logistics while optimizing vendor SLAs to reduce overhead costs. By bridging the gap between creative design and technical deployment, the position ensures seamless, secure integration of digital signage, live demo devices, and physical fixtures. Additionally, the role leads a high-velocity project management team to eliminate operational bottlenecks and continuously elevate retail execution standards.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

  • Lead end-to-end retail store build-outs, fixture deployment, and physical layout optimization to deliver an uncompromised, best-in-class customer experience across all retail environments

  • Direct high-volume print vendor contracts, fulfillment operations, and packout kitting processes to maximize cost efficiency, protect margins, and consistently meet strict delivery SLAs

  • Oversee digital CMS architecture, digital signage infrastructure, and live device security pedestals to ensure seamless, interactive, and highly secure in-store customer engagement

  • Establish rigorous quality assurance workflows and rapid troubleshooting protocols to immediately resolve deployment errors or post-packout issues reported by field teams

  • Champion the integration of AI-driven project management tools to analyze retail footprint performance, timeline efficiencies, and resource allocation to improve execution velocity

  • Mentor and guide a high-performing team of project managers, establishing clear performance metrics and development pathways to drive operational excellence on concurrent, fast-paced campaigns

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring):

  • Deep expertise in retail merchandising execution, print production technologies, and custom fixture manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality physical asset development

  • Extensive experience leading high-volume logistics, distribution networks, and fulfillment vendor SLA management within complex, multi-site retail footprints

  • Strategic leadership capabilities to effectively motivate, develop, and align cross-functional project management teams handling high-velocity, concurrent initiatives

  • Advanced collaborative communication skills to seamlessly bridge partnerships among diverse stakeholders, including creative design, engineering, legal, real estate, and sales operations

  • Strong technical literacy in managing digital signage systems, content management platforms, and interactive network infrastructures

  • Practical AI literacy, specifically utilizing predictive analytics and AI tools to forecast inventory demands and optimize supply chain pipelines

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in the retail wireless or telecommunications sector

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools and collaborative digital environments

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 6+ years of experience in managing a Retail Merchandising team or a closely related operational leadership role
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Executing retail point-of-sale materials, fixture manufacturing, and retail fulfillment processes

    • Managing high-volume print production and vendor SLAs

    • Microsoft Office Tools, specifically advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
