Our investment in the future needs those with an eye on the bottom line, and our Financial organization plays a vital role in supporting our game-changing ideas with creative solutions to complex problems. Team members have the unique opportunity to explore diverse business lines, gaining hands-on experience in various facets of finance, including accounting, audit and supply chain management.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Financial Analysis team as they operate and improve subscriber profitability models
  • Evaluate subscriber facing offers for profitability and financial risks
  • Manage and optimize EchoStar's MVNO costs
  • Assist operational groups with financial modeling, revenue and cost forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
  • Perform financial and strategic analyses in collaboration with operating groups to improve performance for all areas of the business
  • Assist with M&A activity by conducting due diligence and creating forward looking financial and valuation models
  • Interpret financial data and communicate conclusions and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Create and deliver financial presentations to upper management

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • MBA, MS-Finance, or other related Master’s degree is preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years prior work experience is preferred, with management experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Established leadership skills and an ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Strong understanding of valuation and other key finance concepts
  • Outstanding problem solving and quantitative analysis abilities
  • Ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
