Position: Global Vice President, Hyperscale Sales
Location: San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, Seattle
About the Role:
Digital Realty is seeking a transformational sales executive to lead global hyperscale sales. This leader will be responsible for driving strategic growth with the world's largest cloud, AI, internet, and technology companies while helping shape the next generation of digital infrastructure. As SVP of Hyperscale Sales, you will develop executive relationships with key decision-makers, originate and close multi-site infrastructure transactions, and partner across development, engineering, operations, finance, and investment teams to deliver some of the industry's most complex and high-profile deployments. This role sits at the intersection of AI, cloud computing, power infrastructure, and global digital transformation.
What You'll Do:

• Drive Global Growth
• Lead Digital Realty's hyperscale sales strategy across major cloud, AI, and digital platform customers.
• Develop and execute account strategies focused on long-term revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain C-suite relationships with leading technology companies.
• Identify emerging customer requirements and translate them into scalable growth opportunities.

Lead Strategic Infrastructure Transactions

• Structure and negotiate data center agreements for both multi-megawatt and edge requirements.
• Engage with customers to understand their long-term capacity needs
• Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, expansion rights, development milestones, and long-term partnership agreements.
• Deliver predictable pipeline growth and revenue performance.

Partner Across the Enterprise

• Collaborate closely with development, engineering, capital markets, operations, and executive leadership teams.
• Align customer demand with Digital Realty's global expansion and capacity strategy.
• Act as the executive sponsor for strategic customer relationships and critical pursuits.
• Navigate complex internal and external stakeholder environments to accelerate deal execution.

Shape Industry Strategy

• Serve as a market-facing thought leader across hyperscale, cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital transformation.
• Monitor competitive dynamics and emerging customer trends.
• Provide market intelligence that informs investment, product, and go-to-market strategies.

What you'll need:

• 15+ years of enterprise technology, cloud, infrastructure, telecommunications, or digital infrastructure sales leadership experience.
• Proven track record of closing complex, multi-million-dollar strategic transactions.
• Experience managing executive relationships with Fortune 500 or global technology companies.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing enterprise sales organizations.
• Strong commercial, financial, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Data center, hyperscale cloud, AI infrastructure, network, fiber, or digital infrastructure industry background.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure development or build-to-suit solutions.
• Understanding of power, sustainability, land development, or capital-intensive infrastructure environments.
• Global account leadership experience spanning multiple regions and business units.

What Success Looks Like:
Within your first 12-24 months, you will:

• Accelerate growth within Digital Realty's largest global hyperscale accounts.
• Deliver significant new bookings and multi-market expansion opportunities.
• Establish executive-level relationships across strategic cloud and AI customers.
• Improve sales velocity and execution consistency on large-scale strategic pursuits.
• Help position Digital Realty as the preferred global infrastructure partner for hyperscale and AI deployments.

Our Compensation Philosophy
Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Central to our compensation philosophy is rewarding our employees for achieving the values and objectives aligned to the company's overall goals and values.
Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee's total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
Compensation range: $280,000 - $370,000. This compensation range represents the Company's good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
