    Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (Transit & Rail Stations) to join its New York Building and Facility Structures Group to manage large multi-disciplinary projects in the New York Metro area. This individual will be mainly focusing on pursuing and delivering Transit & Rail Stations Projects and is responsible for leading teams of engineers, architects and consultants to successfully deliver high quality design on time and on budget.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage engineering teams, disciplines, architects and consultants as the Project Manager or Design Manager.
    • Manage the design for large multi-disciplinary projects, including for Design-Build method of delivery.
    • Provide oversight and quality assurance on the design deliverables.
    • Develop lead production of technical specifications.
    • Coordinate design requirements and scope with the client/owner, contractor and other disciplines or consultants on the project.
    • Communicate effectively with client/owner, contractor and design partners in writing and verbally.
    • Ability to effectively lead meetings with clients/owners, contractors, discipline leads and design partners.
    • Attend site visits and field observations, provide report on findings, and recommend solutions.
    • Provide engineering proposals including scope, budget, technical write-ups and design schedule.
    • Lead structural design production as the Engineer of Record.

    Required Skills & Required Experience
    • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
    • An active PE License in State of New York (or ability to obtain NY PE within 6 months, if currently licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction).
    • Minimum 10 years of professional experience consisting of structural engineering design, project management and leading other engineers.
    • Experienced with Transit & Rail Station projects.
    • Experienced with developing engineering proposals.
    • Experienced with Design-Build projects.
    • Working knowledge of local and international Building Codes including NYSBC, NYCBC, IBC, ASCE7, AISC and ACI.
    • Working knowledge of structural design and calculations using steel, concrete and masonry materials including the relevant software skills (ETABS, SAFE, Tekla etc.)
    • Experienced with MTA C&D (NYCT, LIRR, MNR) Stations projects.
    • Must be a self-motivated with initiative, drive and determination.
    • Must have great teamwork spirit and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
    • A clean driving record is required.

    Salary Range
    The projected range for this position is $136,150-$175,050 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for NY only.
