Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Metal Machine Operator to join our team in Elgin, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our metalworking machinery operates efficiently and effectively. If you have a passion for machinery and a knack for troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor metalworking machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
  • Handle heavy materials safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any operational issues.
  • Document production data and machine performance metrics accurately.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Metal Machine Operator or similar role.
  • Strong equipment troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Experience with heavy material handling and safety practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
