Job Description
The Packer will be responsible for packing aluminum products in a safe, efficient, and organized manner. This position involves quality control checks, proper labeling, and packaging of finished aluminum products to ensure they are ready for shipping or storage. The ideal candidate must adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Packaging & Handling:
    • Package finished aluminum products according to company standards and customer specifications.
    • Use packing materials such as boxes, crates, wrapping, and padding to secure products during transit.
    • Operate machinery or hand tools to aid in the packaging process (if applicable).
  2. Quality Control:
    • Inspect aluminum products for defects, damage, or irregularities before packing.
    • Ensure that all items meet quality standards before they are packed for shipment.
  3. Labeling & Documentation:
    • Label packages with appropriate product details, shipping information, and barcodes.
    • Complete necessary paperwork, including packing lists, inventory logs, and shipping forms.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and report packaging material stock levels.
    • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate packing and shipping of orders.
  5. Safety & Cleanliness:
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling aluminum products and packaging materials.
    • Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist in other areas of the production or shipping process as needed.
