Title: Firewall Level 3 Engineers (3 Openings!)

Must haves:
  1. 8+ years of experience in network security, with extensive hands-on experience in managing and architecting firewall solutions using Check Point, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco ASA.
  2. 5+ years of experience working with firewalls
  3. Strong firewall expertise, including Cisco FTD/FMC and CheckPoint
  4. Deep understanding of network security principles, advanced firewall configuration, threat detection, and mitigation techniques.
  5. Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively with executive leadership.
  6. Solid understanding of Linux, including good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automating firewall management tasks

Day-to-day:
  1. The Operations Firewall Engineer - Level 3 is a senior role responsible for the design, implementation, and management of complex firewall architectures across CheckPoint, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco ASA environments. This role involves leading security projects, developing strategic security initiatives, and providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to ensure the highest levels of network security.
  1. Key Responsibilities:
    1. Firewall Architecture and Design for Operations:
      1. Design and implement advanced firewall architectures to secure enterprise networks, integrating Check Point, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco ASA technologies.
      2. Develop and maintain a robust firewall strategy that aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices.
    2. Strategic Security Leadership:
      1. Lead the development and execution of network security strategies, including the selection and deployment of firewall solutions.
      2. Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure that firewall operations support the overall security strategy of the organization.
    3. Advanced Troubleshooting and Incident Response:
      1. Handle the most complex and critical firewall-related issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
      2. Lead and coordinate response efforts to major security incidents, working closely with other IT and security teams.
    4. Firewall Policy and Rule Management:
      1. Develop, review, and enforce security policies and rules across firewall platforms, ensuring optimal balance between security and network performance.
      2. Conduct regular audits and reviews of firewall configurations, making necessary adjustments to address evolving threats and compliance requirements.
    5. Mentorship and Team Leadership:

    6. Security Project Management:
