Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc., is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our HUB Manager position for our branch operations group located in Forest Park, GA. The HUB Manager is responsible for the branch’s operations and staff with accountability for sales, customer service, profitability, productivity and growth of market share through utilization of effective sales techniques. Along with the operations side of the branch will be the responsibility of overseeing transportation, inventory control and distribution of product, parts and equipment to/from the GBU distribution centers and to our customers for a designated region.

Responsibilities may include:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch including staffing and ensure successful and timely completion of assigned duties of all personnel. Review and approve hours worked and PTO using Kronos.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure work is compliant with the established protocols and processes and objectives - meeting customer and branch expectations.
• Oversee all aspects of profit center (operations, sales, admin, etc.) working closely with Credit Department at Corporate to determine appropriate credit level and resolve any credit issues.
• Responsible for building and maintaining morale in the branch by demonstrating leadership qualities and setting an example for staff, promoting teamwork both within the branch, local team and within the region. Provide knowledge and skill development opportunities for employees with proper training and guidance for them to reach their full potential and have growth opportunities. Ensure employees complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
• Process purchase orders, research low stock and receivables and process branch payables, audit cash drawers and truck metrics. Remain current with warranty processing and follow up quickly on rejections.
• Stay current with cycle counts and keep dead stock at a minimum.
• Maintain ample levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all branch customers.
• Review P hold safety meetings, security reports and maintain facility.
• Complete all tasks on the Branch Manager's monthly/daily checklist and act as a safety leader. Conduct weekly safety committee meetings. Complete any Flash reports within the required timeline and communicate issues/injuries immediately.
• Oversee branch and warehouse appearance, housekeeping, maintenance, and repair.
• Provide Regional Operations Manager (ROM) any requested branch specific information /reports and provide vital information in a timely manner.
• Maintain a 93%, or higher, audit score
• Maintain a working knowledge of company’s benefits and employee handbook policies. Ensure employees are following safety protocols including maintaining an organized and clean work environment,
• Conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisals for all direct reports through the online Performance Engagement platform.
• May work outside regular working hours in case of emergencies within the branch as required.
• Ensures the on-time delivery of product to/from the distribution centers and to the customers.
• Ensures efficient warehousing with timely movement of product.
• Extracts data and generates reports that assist in performance tracking and decision making.
• Develops and monitors product handling program, space efficiency, labor efficiency and first-in-first-out movement whenever possible.
• Ensures proper execution and accurate documentation of order filling, transporting and delivery/receiving.
• Responsible for implementation and effective utilization of system(s) that will ensure that all product within the warehouse and/or entering or leaving the warehouse is accurately identified, distributed or delivered, and properly stored in designated locations.
• Provides input to the accounting, production and scheduling departments to support financial reports, period forecasts, scheduling, and annual business plan preparation.
• Develops and ensures department policies are being applied accurately and consistently and supports the Company policies and procedures / assures the consistent application of Company policies.
• Trains and supervises employees to carry out the functions under their control.
• Utilizes the most reliable, least expensive delivery services possible.
• Oversees receiving, issues documentation and resolves discrepancies by interfacing with distribution centers and/or Logistics Department at the Daikin Texas Technology Park.
• Generates reports based on data accumulated through the SAP system.
• Must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of their work area and other company standards
• Identifies value-creation opportunities for the company in the movement and distribution of the product.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• 6+ years working in a multi-site distribution center
• 2+ years’ field logistics experience
